adventure is my middle name

This past weekend was full of fun times. On friday, the entire college took a field trip to whitby, a coastal town with an abbey very significant to church history. before we got to whitby, we stopped off at robin hood's bay and explored there for a while. Such a cute little town! We walked around the town for a bit and down the beach. Then from there some of us took a trail along the coast to whitby. Such a beautiful walk! I was so tired by the end, but it was definitely worth it. It was a lovely, sunny day for the most part. After we frolicked around the abbey, we went to the magpie for fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding. Sticky toffee pudding was amazing, fish and chips were not as good as everyone said they were going to be.

On saturday a small group of us went on a road trip to see a bunch of different castles and abbeys up into Scotland. We saw eight different places in a total of three days, including sterling castle and doune castle (where they filmed monty python and the holy grail!) Needless to say, it was an epic trip, and I got tons of pictures, which will hopefully be making their way to facebook soon.
