moving all the while

The beginning of the month was full of busyness, pushing to meet deadlines.  Last week was full of prayer and talking to people, challenging them to think about God's call on their life.

A look back on my own life will show God's hand clearly guiding.  While we are busy moving and trying to arrange our own lives, God's plan is moving forward.

In the morning as I wake

On this narrow road I walk
You have made a path for me

What is even more amazing is how personal God is.  Not only does He have a plan for our future, He has a plan for each and every moment of our lives.  Each morning when we wake up, He knows exaclty what the day is going to bring for us.  It is so easy when things around us change and when the future is uncertain, to say "God, what am I going to do when these things happen?  What is going to happen do me when this chapter of my life has come to a close? What will the next chapter say?"

Part of trusting God is not only trusting Him with the next chapter in our lives, but trusting Him to finish out this one.  We need to realise that God is moving all the while.
