Happy New Year Everyone!

Looking back, can we say we know God better now than this time last year?  Praying that 2011 will bring me even closer to Jesus.

Christmas.

Hello, its a few days late, but Merry Christmas!  I pray you all had a nice day to relax with family and friends.

I should probably tell you, I did make it home all in one piece!  The airports were ridiculously packed, people sleeping in the terminals and whatnot.  Since my flight had been booked for months I got into the checkin line relatively quickly...and then had to wait my turn.  I tell you, props to those people working at the airports, especially during the winter.  Some of them were quite cranky, but I'd be too when dealing with some of the people I saw.  But really, its kind of a no-win for both sides.  The employees are just trying to do their jobs, and the passengers are cranky cause they've been sleeping at the airport for two days...anyway, I digress.  I made it to the gate with 5 minutes to spare, and made my connecting flight with no problem.  It was a long 8 hours across the Atlantic, especially since I got stuck in a middle seat and finished my book within a few hours.  But, praise the Lord I made it home and have had a few days already with my family.  Weather permitting, I fly back to the UK on Wednesday.

Although, part of me will be happy if my flight is delayed...that means a few more days with the family  :-)

prayers please

Hello everyone.  Today I start my journey home for Christmas.  So far, my train should be running on time today.  I am going down to London to spend the night, and fly out of Heathrow first thing Wednesday morning.  Because of snow, airports have been having significant cancellations and delays.  Please pray that everything is uneventful, specifically on time flights, no missed connections, no lost luggage, etc. so I can be at home and have Christmas with my family.

Thank you!
