fun's over kids.

Today is my second day at my desk.  Our whirlwind "fun" week of sight seeing and orientation is over.  So far it has been good, learning more about the larger structure and what we do here.  On Monday I arrived at my desk to find a nice card and an 8-pack of Diet Coke.  I feel so loved :-)

However, my computer has not arrived, so right now I'm working from my laptop...and by working I mean trying to find things to occupy me until my computer and the programs I need get here.  Yesterday I read the team manual, figured out how to work the email, etc.  Today I met with my boss, and hopefully my computer will be here soon so I can get started on some of the projects he has for me to do.  So for the rest of the day I poked around on the OM International website, the office intranet, and finished up my support newsletter.  I've emailed them out, and hopefully will be able to print and mail the rest out soon!  IT is trying to figure out how I can print from my mac...

I also have an actual address now, so if you'd like it, leave a comment and I will get it to you.  I love getting mail ;-)
