friday!

Happy Friday everyone!  Today is the last Friday of the month, which is partner's day in the office.  They give us this day every month to work on communicating with those who helped us get here.  We are encouraged to work on newsletters, write postcards, and keep in touch with our support base.  I think blogging is allowed as well ;-). 

Things are going about as well as can be expected.  The weather is starting to get colder and wetter, and the days are getting shorter.  We can't leave the windows open while we are gone, or we will get slugs coming in the house!  At work I have been keeping fairly busy with different projects.  I've been having to do all of my work on my own computer since the one they ordered for me was late in arriving.  It has arrived this week, and all the appropriate programs were installed yesterday.  So now I'm trying to re-familiarize myself with a PC.  I have not missed it one bit!  Its true, once you go mac, you don't go back (unless you have to...).  Also on the agenda is get more familiar with InDesign.  That should be interesting...so far I haven't done anything that I couldn't do in Photoshop, so I'm not sure how using InDesign is better.  I shall just need to be educated.

Also on the agenda is a day trip to Edinburgh on Saturday, and hopefully a weekend to York in the near future!  I also need to get out and take some more pictures...I don't have any to go on my October newsletter...
